A Year of the Tao – Day 48

“That which cannot be seen is called invisible.  That which cannot be heard is called inaudible.  That which cannot be held is called intangible.  These three cannot be defined; therefore, they are merged as one..”

(From A New Way of Thinking, A New Way of Being Experiencing the Tao Te Ching)

 

First thought: See no evil, hear no evil, touch no evil? 

Second thought: that which cannot be seen, heard, nor touched is what some call God, or the spiritual realm and is, in my humble opinion, above, below, around and through the invisible, the inaudible and the intangible aspects of the human experience.

It resides in that secret place deep inside that is sure that there must be something more.  Some folks never notice or bother to give sway to that longing but I am convinced there is not a soul on this planet who has not asked that question…

    Many think that in order to see the unseeable, hear the unhearable and touch the untouchable you must first have faith…. Regardless of your diety, faith is the necessary ingredient to unlock all the “Uns”
